Dreamy Estates is a family run operation managed by us, Chris and Nick, two first generation Canadian brothers. Chris and Nick’s mother (Jacqueline) and father (Daniel) immigrated to Canada from France in the 1960s with the dream of building their ‘Cabane au Canada’. They would eventually, 30 years later build their beautiful dream home on a 100-acre property in the Grey Highlands North of Toronto.

Chris and Nick watched and continue to watch their parents enjoy their lovely property and home. However, they soon realised that their parents rarely, if ever, used or visited about 95% of their property, hence there was no need for them to own 100 acres. Surely 5-15 acres if not less acreage, would suffice to meet their leisure and privacy needs.

Unfortunately, currently most of rural Canada is subdivided into 100-acre, if not larger, properties making them unaffordable for most potential buyers. This realisation led Chris and Nick to create Dreamy Estates. An enterprise that strives to make small, medium and large-sized quality estates available so that as many dream properties as possible can become a reality in the Ottawa Valley.
